Texas and UCLA each moved up one spot to No. 2 and 4, respectively. South Carolina dropped one spot to No. 3 after a 1-1 week. The Gamecocks fell to Oklahoma but followed it up with a win over Vanderbilt. It was the Commodores’ first loss of the season, which dropped them two spots to No. 6.

LSU defeated Texas A&M on Thursday in College Station, then traveled home for a Monday evening tipoff against Florida. The Tigers extended their win streak to five games with a victory over the Gators. It was their first of three straight home games.

Head coach Kim Mulkey’s team takes the court next on Thursday when it welcomes Arkansas to the PMAC. The Tigers stay home until Sunday for a ranked matchup against Alabama, which climbed one spot in the poll to No. 22.
