Following the Miami Dolphins’ disastrous opening 33-8 loss at the hands of the Indianapolis Colts, the team was back on the practice field Wednesday afternoon. The Week 1 loss had injury added to insult with multiple players leaving the game with various ailments. Offensive lineman James Daniels already landed on injured reserve as a consequence of a pectoral injury suffered in the loss.
Fellow offensive lineman Austin Jackson also suffered an injury and didn’t participate in this week’s first session heading into a Week 2 matchup with the New England Patriots. Head coach Mike McDaniel told reporters it is unlikely Jackson will play on Sunday and that Larry Borom is set to start in his place.
A total of six players didn’t participate Wednesday. Safety Ashtyn Davis and wide receiver Jaylen Waddle were limited.
