Jeevan Pramaan Submit Last Date: Every year, pensioners are required to submit a ‘Jeevan Pramaan’ or life certificate before banks, post offices or any pension disbursing agencies to prove that they are alive. Pensions will be credited into their account once they authenticate themselves via Jeevan Pramaan.
Over 1 crore families in India come under pensioner families, making Jeevan Pramaan an important document to avail the pension facility across India.
Earlier, pensioners are required to present himself/herself personally before the Pension Disbursing Officer. To offer relaxation and enhance efficiency and seamless transfer of benefits, the government brought Jeevan Pramaan (DLC), minimalizing the requirement of individual pensioners to make physical visits to pension offices or banks.
What Is Jeevan Pramaan (Digital Life Certificate)?
Jeevan Pramaan (Digital Life Certificate) is a biometric-enabled Aadhaar-based Digital Life Certificate for pensioners.
Moreover, it is automatically processed by the Pension Disbursing Agency. Also each DLC has a unique id called the Pramaan-Id.
How Does It Work?
- Jeevan Pramaan uses the Aadhaar platform for biometric authentication of the pensioner.
- A successful authentication generates the Digital Life Certificate which gets stored in the Life Certificate Repository.
- The Pension Disbursing Agencies can access the certificate on-line.
Key Dates To Submit Digital Life Certificate?
Pensioners must submit their life certificate, also known as Jeevan Pramaan, between November 1 and 30 to ensure uninterrupted pension payments. However, senior citizens aged 80 and above can submit their life certificate earlier, starting from October 1, 2025.
How To Get A Jeevan Pramaan Certificate?
Getting a digital Life certificate is hassle free and can be obtained through various Jeevan Pramaan Centres which are being operated by CSCs, Banks, Government offices or by using the client application on any PC/mobile/tablet.

How to Download JeevanPramaan application for windows ?
1. To download the jeevanpramaan application click on ‘Download’ tab on https://jeevanpramaan.gov.in
2. Provide email-id, captcha and click on ‘I agree to Download’.
3. You will receive OTP on your email-id – enter the otp.
4. On entering correct OTP the download page appears – click on ‘Download For Windows OS’
5. you will receive download link on your e-mail-id – link can be clicked only once after that it expires – Click on it.
6. A .zip file containing the jeevanpramaan application will get downloaded – unzip the .zip file, – after unzipping follow instructions provided in ‘client installation document’.

1. To download the jeevanpramaan application click on ‘Download’ tab on https://jeevanpramaan.gov.in
2. Provide email-id, captcha and click on ‘I agree to Download’.
3. You will receive OTP on your email-id – enter the otp.
4. On entering correct OTP the download page appears – click on ‘Mobile App download’ ‘
5. You will receive download link on your e-mail-id – link can be clicked only once after that it expires – Click on it – application ( apk file ) will get downloaded.
